Four years later, Ambode joins Sanwo-Olu and Fashola at a banquet honouring Tinubu.
At a ceremony held in honour of President Bola Tinubu in Lagos, former governor Akinwunmi Ambode joined his colleagues Babatunde Fashola and Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The group appeared to be having fun in a video that Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-chief Olu’s press secretary, uploaded on his official Twitter account on Thursday.

At a reception for President @officialABAT, who is in Lagos for the Sallah celebration, Governor @jidesanwoolu announced, “Breaking: Governors Fashola, Ambode, and Sanwo-Olu meet at the Lagos House, Marina for the first time in over four years.”
At the reception location, they will be joined by Obafemi Hamzat, the deputy governor of Lagos State.
Remember that there was a disagreement between Ambode and Tinubu’s political group ahead to the 2019 governorship election in the state, which led to the former governor (Ambode) losing his reelection campaign.
