Marcus Rashford is set to become Manchester United's highest-paid player.

As a reward for his remarkable performance last season, Marcus Rashford is likely to become Manchester United’s highest paid player.

Rashford currently makes £200,000 per week, with one year remaining on his contract after United agreed to a one-year extension.

The Red Devils, on the other hand, are eager to tie him down to a new contract that could pay him £375,000 a week.

It is the same salary as David De Gea, but the Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the month, with the agreement on offer for him including a weekly salary of £200,000 in an effective wage exchange.

De Gea has been highly projected to quit the Red Devils this summer, but according to The Sun, the club’s senior brass are now sure he will stay.

But, United may recruit a new custodian this summer, with a £45 million bid for Everton’s Jordan Pickford being prepared.
