Buni appoints an acting SSG and CoS

Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni has appointed Alhaji Baba Wali as acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

This was stated by Buni’s Director-General, Press and Media Affairs, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, on Monday in Damaturu.

The governor has also approved the appointment of Alhaji Abdullahi Gashua as his acting Chief of Staff, according to the statement (CoS).

According to the statement, both appointments are effective immediately.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Wali and Gashua served in substantive capacities before being relieved of their duties following the dissolution of the State Executive Council in May.
