Multiple ER Visits and Severe Pain
Omosexy was rushed to the ER twice in one week due to the intense pain. Doctors initially suspected high blood pressure and severe acid reflux. They administered treatments, including drips and blood work, and sent her home to manage the pain. Unfortunately, her condition worsened, leading to a third emergency visit.
“After the movie screening, I knew there would be no talks with Denzel or Ridley Scott today. I needed to go! I threw up all night till there was nothing to throw up anymore. By morning, the most excruciating stomach pain started, and I was rushed again to emergency – the third time!” Omotola recounted.
Emergency Surgery and Recovery
During her third visit to the hospital, Omosexy underwent a series of diagnostic tests, including a CT scan, ultrasound, and MRI. The tests revealed that her gallbladder was severely dilated, necessitating immediate surgery. The doctors were astonished at how she had managed to endure such intense pain for so long.
“The doctor came in and said, ‘You have to go in immediately for surgery to remove your gallbladder!’ It was so dilated; the doctors wondered how I was not in more pain,” Omosexy shared.
Grateful for Life and Health
Following the surgery, Omosexy expressed immense gratitude for her recovery. She acknowledged the support and prayers she received from her family, friends, and fans during the challenging period. Omotola emphasized the importance of good health and encouraged everyone to take a moment to give thanks.
“So the fight for my life began, and today, I am returning to give all the glory to God. Whether you’re in the US or not, there’s so much to thank God for. Take some time to join in and give thanks. Not only the gift of life but the gift of good health. The gift of a complete body or a sane mind to even dream of a better day,” Omosexy concluded.

Her story resonates with many who have faced similar health challenges and highlights the strength and resilience needed to overcome such crises.
